Betty-approved books for the first half of 2026! ✨ What have been some of your favorite novels this year? I’ve been loving stories from multiple genres and different cultural backgrounds. Each of these books was at least a 4 or 5 star read, but also one that I couldn’t get out of my system for daysss. Incredible writing, beautiful messages, life-like characters, and mostly just great vibes?? These Asian-authored books deserve to be well-loved 🤍✨ I’m so grateful to be living in a time where Asian books are more mainstream, and to be able to open up a book at the library and see myself in the pages. But I also want to highlight the books that may not be circulating that heavily on social media— but deserve the same amount of love and attention.
